Each year, Switzerland offers Excellence Scholarships, welcoming academics and researchers from more than 180 nations to participate in educational and research activities within the country.
These grants are accessible to graduate researchers in diverse domains, demanding a minimum of a master’s degree as the basic requirement for qualification.
The initiative invites those interested in undertaking research or advanced studies at the doctoral or postdoctoral tiers in Switzerland.
The primary objective of the Swiss Government Excellence Scholarships is to establish educational opportunities for prospective international researchers who have fulfilled their master’s or doctoral prerequisites, in addition to foreign artists possessing a bachelor’s degree.
The scholarship recipient selection procedure is supervised by the Federal Commission for Scholarships for Foreign Scholars (FCS).
