The government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has chosen to enforce stringent measures during the Medical and Dental College Admission Test (MDCAT) examination, slated to take place later this month.

As per the information, the interim provincial government has opted to halt mobile tower services close to the examination centers throughout the test duration to tackle cheating.

Furthermore, KP Law Enforcement in collaboration with the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) have been diligently working to prevent any recurrence of the examination conducted earlier this year.

Peshawar Law Enforcement has been assigned the responsibility of supervising the production and management of examination materials. In addition, walkthrough metal detectors and closed-circuit television (CCTV) cameras will be set up at examination venues throughout the province. Furthermore, female law enforcement officers will also be deployed for security.

In an attempt to facilitate easy access for the examinees, authorities have established examination centers in the 11 districts of the province. These include Peshawar, DI Khan, Kohat, Mardan, Lower Dir, Swat, and Abbottabad.

Khyber Medical University will furnish details regarding the personnel on duty, excluding officials handling administrative tasks across various divisions. This step is taken to ensure fairness.

It should be emphasized that Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has opted to administer the MDCAT examination once again, following the discovery of numerous students resorting to cheating with the aid of Bluetooth devices. Consequently, the re-examination will be held on November 26th.
