The Department of Migrant Workers (DMW) in the Philippines is presently engaged in efforts to forge a Memorandum of Cooperation with these nations. In a recent trip to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, Secretary Susan Ople of the Department of Migrant Workers (DMW) was informed that Saudi Arabia has communicated its desire to employ around 1 million Filipino workers. The recruitment endeavors in Saudi Arabia will predominantly concentrate on the flourishing tourism industry, encompassing the establishment of hotels, restaurants, and resorts across the nation.
