First Women Bank Limited is looking for Universal Tellers to join its branch banking team across Pakistan. The role sits at the front counter of the branch, handling day-to-day cash transactions and helping customers with their routine banking needs. It suits graduates who have some cash handling experience in a bank and want to build a career in branch operations. The bank welcomes applications from women and differently-abled candidates.
What we're looking for:
- Minimum graduation from an HEC recognized university
- At least one year of relevant cash handling experience in any bank
- Strong numerical accuracy and close attention to detail
- Good communication and interpersonal skills for dealing with customers
- Basic computer skills, with familiarity with banking software
- Honest, professional approach and the ability to work under pressure
Key Responsibilities & Deliverables:
- Handle cash and cheque deposits, withdrawals, transfers and bill payments at the branch counter
- Check customer identity and follow compliance, anti-money laundering and security procedures on every transaction
- Balance and sort cash at the end of each working day and keep the cash book up to date
- Post cash vouchers and transactions into the banking system and match them with system reports
- Reconcile sorted, unsorted and new currency notes and place them in the vault before closing
- Keep fresh cash available at counters as per State Bank directives and report any suspicious activity
