10Pearls is seeking a Staff/Senior Software Consultant specializing in Golang for a senior backend engineering position centered on real-time audio and video communication. The role demands deep expertise in Go or C++ to design and build low-latency microservices, WebSocket and REST APIs, and WebRTC-based streaming features such as SFUs. It is ideal for engineers who are passionate about high-performance distributed systems. This is a full-time, on-site day-shift role based in Lahore.
What we're looking for:
- Deep expertise in Go or C++
- Proven experience building low-latency, real-time systems
- Strong knowledge of WebRTC, WebSocket and REST API design
- Solid background in distributed systems and performance optimization
- Senior-level backend engineering experience
Key Responsibilities & Deliverables:
- Design and develop low-latency microservices in Go or C++ for real-time communication
- Build and maintain WebSocket and REST APIs supporting audio/video streaming features
- Implement and optimize WebRTC-based streaming features such as SFUs
- Ensure high performance, reliability and scalability of distributed systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on system architecture and delivery
