Meezan Bank is hiring an Officer for Process Design, Productivity and Controls at its head office in Karachi. The role sits in the Centralized Operations Department and focuses on making the bank's processes sharper and its controls stronger. You will be looking at how work actually gets done, finding the gaps, and shaping improvements that teams can adopt.
What we're looking for:
- Minimum Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred) in Business, Finance, Banking or a related field from an HEC recognized university
- At least 2 years of relevant experience
- Good understanding of business process re-engineering and process improvement
- Knowledge of internal controls and risk evaluation
- Ability to write technical documents and prepare BRDs
- Comfortable managing stakeholders and proficient in MS Office
- Qualification in Islamic Finance will be an added advantage
Key Responsibilities & Deliverables:
- Spot process gaps and suggest improvements that lift productivity and tighten controls
- Design and refine business processes together with the relevant teams
- Write Business Requirement Documents (BRDs) and help teams adopt the new processes
- Review internal controls so they stay in line with banking regulations and best practice
