National Bank of Pakistan's HR wing is looking for a Manager Initiatives & Digital Learning (AVP) to lead digital learning and learning innovation at its Karachi office. The role reports to the Wing Head Learning Strategy & Planning and focuses on designing modern, learner-centric training solutions. You will bring contemporary methods like microlearning, gamification, AR/VR and agentic AI into how the bank develops its people. This is a 3-year contract role, renewable at the management's discretion. How to apply: Interested candidates can apply through the bank's official online recruitment portal before the closing date. What we're looking for:
- Minimum graduation from an HEC-recognized university; a Master's in CS, AI, Data, Electronics or an MBA is preferred.
- At least 6 years of working experience, preferably in banking, financial or corporate institutions; digital learning experience is a plus.
- Highly proficient in digital learning tools such as Articulate Storyline, Adobe Creative Suite, Vyond and Canva.
- Working knowledge of AI tools, chatbots, agentic AI and workflow automation.
- Familiarity with instructional design, gamification, AR/VR and LMS/LXP platforms.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities & Deliverables:
- Design and roll out engaging digital learning solutions and structured learning journeys aligned with business goals.
- Assess capability gaps through surveys, skill evaluations, simulations and interactive tools.
- Build gamified activities, board games and simulations tied to business competencies, with creative leaderboards to drive engagement.
- Develop and manage agentic AI solutions, chatbots and virtual coaches for personalized learning support.
- Oversee LMS operations and the overall learner experience so learning stays accessible and engaging.
- Manage vendors and agencies for learning content production, ensuring quality, timelines and delivery standards.
- Prepare visual presentations for leadership and management reviews.
