Engineering Consultancy Services Punjab (ECSP) is looking for an experienced General Manager to lead its Roads and Highways design work from its Lahore office. The role heads the design team working on highway and road projects across Punjab. This is a contract appointment with a market-based salary package and benefits as per the company's HR manual. What we're looking for:
- BE or BSc degree in Civil Engineering with 16 years of education and valid PEC registration.
- At least 10 years of relevant experience in the design of roads and highways projects.
- Strong command of highway design standards, specifications and modern design software.
- Proven ability to lead a design team and manage multiple projects at the same time.
- Good communication and coordination skills for working with clients and stakeholders.
- Applications must include a CV, cover letter, educational and experience certificates, PEC registration, photograph and CNIC copy.
Key Responsibilities & Deliverables:
- Lead the design team for roads and highways projects, from concept through to detailed design.
- Review and approve highway alignments, geometric designs, pavements and drainage designs.
- Coordinate with clients, government departments and project teams to keep designs on schedule.
- Guide and mentor design engineers and draftsmen working on road and highway assignments.
- Ensure all designs meet applicable codes, standards and client requirements.
- Support the preparation of technical proposals and cost estimates for new consultancy assignments.
