Salary: PKR Negotiable
NAFSA is Pakistan's new federal authority for agri-trade and food safety, set up under the NAFSA Act 2026 and headquartered in Islamabad, with offices and stations across the country. The authority is hiring 21 professionals across its scientific, operations and corporate wings, including directors, deputy directors, assistant directors, personal secretaries and inspectors. The roles cover food safety risk, animal and plant health, surveillance and diagnostics, business registration, finance, audit and procurement. Posts are based in Islamabad, Karachi, Multan and Gilgit-Baltistan, with inspectors working at stations across Pakistan. Applications are accepted online only and close on 23 November 2026.
What we're looking for:
- Education and experience exactly as listed in the detailed job description for the chosen post on the official portal
- Relevant professional background in agriculture, veterinary science, food safety, finance, audit or administration, depending on the post
- Strong technical knowledge and the ability to work within a federal regulatory setup
- Clear written and spoken communication, with good reporting and coordination skills

Key Responsibilities & Deliverables:
- Lead or support work in food safety risk, animal and plant health, surveillance and diagnostics, or business registration, as per the post
- Prepare technical assessments, policy inputs and reports for the authority's scientific and operations wings
- Coordinate with regional offices, laboratories and field stations across Pakistan
- Carry out field inspections at stations across the country (Inspector posts)
- Manage official correspondence, scheduling and secretarial support for senior officers (Personal Secretary posts)
- Support finance, procurement, internal audit and risk functions at the head office
