Salary: PKR Negotiable
Federal Medical College in Islamabad has opened 25 permanent Demonstrator posts in BS-17 through the Federal Public Service Commission's consolidated advertisement 4/2026. The college is looking for MBBS graduates registered with the Pakistan Medical and Dental Council to join its teaching faculty. The age limit is 22 to 30 years, with five years of general relaxation as per government rules. Applications are submitted online only through the FPSC portal, and the last date to apply is 23 November 2026. A written MCQ test is tentatively scheduled from 2 January 2027, and the official application fee for BS-17 is Rs 600.
What we're looking for:
- MBBS degree or an equivalent qualification recognised by the PMDC
- Valid registration with the Pakistan Medical and Dental Council
- Age between 22 and 30 years on the closing date, with five years general relaxation
- Domicile quota applies as per the advertisement (Merit, Punjab, Sindh, KP, Balochistan, Ex-FATA, AJK)
- Strong communication skills and a genuine interest in medical teaching
- Willingness to appear in the FPSC written test and interview process
Key Responsibilities & Deliverables:
- Support senior faculty in teaching MBBS students through lectures and practical sessions
- Conduct and supervise laboratory and clinical demonstrations for students
- Prepare teaching material, models and specimens for practical classes
- Help assess students through tutorials, assignments and examinations
- Maintain laboratory and demonstration room records and equipment
- Assist in academic and departmental activities of the college as assigned
