The Assistant Manager Inspection will ensure on-time inspection of transmission, distribution, TSW production and safety material — inspecting material at vendor premises and at KE stores and storage sites, recording material parameters in SAP, advising acceptance or rejection to management, verifying documentation against purchase orders, conducting factory acceptance tests, coordinating with the transformer and switchgear workshop, and following up warranty claims with vendors.
What we're looking for:
- BE in Electrical, Electronics or Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum 2 to 3 years of relevant experience
- Familiarity with SAP and quality standards
Key Responsibilities & Deliverables:
- Inspect material at vendor premises and at KE stores and storage sites
- Record material parameters in SAP
- Advise acceptance or rejection to the GM after inspection
- Verify documentation against purchase order requirements
- Conduct factory acceptance tests against inspection calls
- Coordinate with the transformer and switchgear workshop on inspections and RCA
- Follow up with vendors on warranty claims, rejections and lifting of rejected material
